About HD Metal  

HD Metal

HD metal is the most beautiful thing we have ever seen. HD Metal consists of a thin aluminium plate with a special coating on top. We then use a unique technique to apply your photo or image onto it. The result is phenomenal!! Razor-sharp, ultra strong with a never seen before photo quality. The material we use is scratch-resistant and waterproof so it is perfect for outdoor use. The high-gloss version is the successor of plexiglass prints however it is lighter, stronger and has vibrant colours! The matt version is the successor for Dibond, aluminium and Forex prints. HD Metal comes with a free hanging system and spacer for the wall. HD Metal was created for galleries and top photographers but is now also available for you!

Our HD Metal is from the world famous brand ChromaLuxe. ChromaLuxe is the world leader in the field of materials for sublimation prints. Using the dye-sublimation technique, the images are "injected" in surfaces that are modified with a special coating layer. This results in a very high-quality printing with razor-sharp images and vibrant colours, which are guaranteed for a very long service life.

Since the HD Metal plates need to be carefully and professionally placed in the floating frame, we do not sell the floating frames separately.

    Because HD Metal is scratch- and water resistant, you can clean it easily. You can use the same cleaning products as you do for cleaning your windows.

  • Can you hang HD Metal outside?

    Yes you can! HD Metal is perfect for outdoor usage. HD Metal is water- and scratch-resistand, this allows it to hang outside for years!

  • Is HD Metal supplied with a hanging system?

    Yes it is! We mount the hanging system onto the print for you. Our patented hanging system is specially developed to make it easy for you to hang your print up on the wall.

  • Can I add text to HD Metal?

    Yes it is possible. You cannot add this yourself, we here at Custtom will add this to your photo for you. Please fill in the comment box your desired text and where it needs to be placed on the print. We will send you a preview by e-mail for your approval.

Perfect

So, I have had a few canvases done over the years for primarily digital artwork but never ever have I had one as beautifully and professionally done as my recent framed canvas from Custom.co.uk. I am to say the least absolutely over the moon with it. The print quality is excellent, the size is perfect at a very competitive price, the framework is honestly solid and superb. It was delivered to a very rural location promptly and arrived as promised securely and well packaged. Before making the initial order I emailed a few concerns which were answered and allayed immediately by knowledgeable staff. I am currently working on another project and I will have no hesitation in using this excellent company again. I don't have enough superlatives to do them justice. Excellent product, speedy service

Have ordered from Cusstom multiple times and have never been disappointed. Turnaround is always very quick and photo tiles are excellent quality and very easy to put up. I recently moved house and had to remove my photo wall - 36 tiles which had been in place for 4 years - and they still came away easily, a tiny bit of paint touch up needed but that was probably down to me pulling too fast. I now have 2 photo walls in my new property and couldn't be happier with them. My only criticism would be that with an order of 36 tiles, more than 1 spacer would be very useful! Luckily I have always kept the spacers from each order and definitely need several when placing multiple tiles.
